Knowledge Assessment of Biomedical Waste Management of Dental Materials in Dakshina Kannada

Abstract Aims and Objective The present survey was done to assess the knowledge, awareness, practice of undergraduate students, postgraduate practitioners about disposal common biomedical wastes materials used in dentistry regularly. Materials Methods (23 questions) conducted on 162 participants categorized as undergraduates (n = 54), postgraduates 54) their practice. Results When questioned whether they were aware waste according color categories, 69.8% it, 2.5% not, 27.8% not sure color-coded categories. subjected statistical analysis, data found be statistically significant (p 0.017).
